What is ISO 9001?

ISO 9001 is an international standard that sets out the requirements for a quality management system. It is the most widely used quality standard in the world, applied by manufacturing and service companies of every size.

The standard does not describe the product itself but the way a company works: how it accepts and reviews orders, plans and supervises production, inspects its products, handles nonconformities and continually improves its processes.

What does it mean for our customers?

• Consistent quality - every order follows the same structured process: from drawing review, through machining, to inspection and release of the part.
• Clear requirements - before starting work we check the documentation, material, tolerances and lead time so that the part meets the customer’s expectations.
• Product inspection - dimensions are checked against the drawing, and measuring instruments are kept under control.
• Traceability - orders and their progress are documented, so we know how and when each part was made.
• Handling nonconformities - every complaint or deviation is analysed and corrective actions are put in place to prevent it from happening again.
• Continual improvement - we regularly review our processes, machines and cooperation with suppliers, looking for improvements.
